Coke drum monitoring is a critical part of maintaining safe and efficient delayed coking operations, especially as units age. Yet for many refineries, process management still relies heavily on periodic checks and indirect signals, leaving operators with limited visibility into what is happening inside the drum during live operation. This gap often leads to conservative decision making, higher operating costs, and avoidable process risk.

We are pleased to announce that Bailey Stainsby has been promoted to Product Manager for our Measurement Instruments Business Unit, taking responsibility for the continued delivery and development of our brand new DrumVision™ instrument and all future product innovations.

This appointment comes at an exciting time for the business, following the successful launch of DrumVision™, a platform that represents a significant step forward in our instrument portfolio and plays a central role in the growth of the Measurement Instruments Business Unit.

Refineries and petrochemical plants are operating in a far more demanding environment than they were even a decade ago. Separator performance remains one of the most persistent challenges in onshore gas and midstream processing. Even well-designed systems can drift away from optimal operation over time, allowing liquids or solids to carry over into the gas stream. When this happens, the consequences extend far beyond the separator itself.

Downstream equipment becomes exposed to fouling and corrosion, throughput is constrained, and maintenance teams are forced into reactive mode. For operators, this often translates into lost production, rising operating costs, and unplanned downtime that can take weeks or months to fully resolve.

Based in Brazil, Felipe has been part of the Tracerco family for over 14 years. His career began with TruScan projects in refineries and offshore platforms, where he quickly proved his technical skill and collaborative spirit.

He later joined the reservoir team, expanding his expertise before diving into the world of subsea diagnostics.
