Based in Brazil, Felipe has been part of the Tracerco family for over 14 years. His career began with TruScan projects in refineries and offshore platforms, where he quickly proved his technical skill and collaborative spirit.
He later joined the reservoir team, expanding his expertise before diving into the world of subsea diagnostics.
Today, Felipe performs complex projects using tools like Discovery™ , Explorer™ , and Flooded Member Inspection (FMI) , supporting clients across Africa, Israel, and Brazil. His work involves non-intrusive inspection methods to ensure subsea pipelines remain safe, efficient, and reliable.
“My role is all about ensuring projects are safe, efficient, and successful from start to finish,” Felipe explains. “It’s incredibly rewarding to solve problems for our clients using advanced subsea inspection techniques and see their satisfaction when everything goes right.”

Felipe’s work is as dynamic as the environments he operates in. Whether coordinating logistics, troubleshooting in real time, or deploying advanced technology on the seabed, he thrives on challenge and collaboration. His favourite part of the job? “Learning from different cultures and working with a team that’s always willing to share knowledge.”

Among his most memorable experiences are training with the Discovery Tool at Tracerco’s US office and participating in high-impact projects across the globe. Outside of work, Felipe finds balance at the beach with his family, occasionally catching waves on his surfboard. He’s a coffee-loving early bird with a soft spot for dogs, a passion for music (his go-to karaoke song is Losing My Religion by R.E.M.), and a taste for gripping TV dramas like Breaking Bad.
