Are you attending the 2019 AIChE Spring Meeting in New Orleans April 1- 4th?

Tracerco will be highlighting case studies on how gamma scans were used to monitor fouling accumulation in packed towers at this year's AIChE 2019 Spring Meeting in New Orleans, LA.

Mark your schedule to sit in on the paper "Utilizing Gamma Scans To Monitor Fouling Accumulation in Packed Towers" presented by William Mixon - Market Manager - Process Diagnostics, Baton Rouge, LA and Lowell Pless -  Consultant for Tracerco. The presentation will provide actual case studies to illustrate how gamma scanning can be a very cost-effective way to monitor the rate of fouling accumulation and to aid in the planning of turnarounds.'

The presentation details are shown below:

Topical 8 - Session: Kister Distillation Symposium 2019; Hilton New Orleans Riverside
The Glenn Shiveler Memorial Session: Distillation Troubleshooting – The Lessons Learned

Tracerco gamma scans will also be featured in a presentation at the Ethylene Producer's Conference (Topical 4) by Andre Perschmann, David Bruder and Thomas Walter, with Linde AG, Linde Engineering, Munich, Germany

Tuesday, April 2, 2019: 8:30 AM St. James Ballroom (Hilton New Orleans Riverside)

This presentation contains highlights on how a theory was developed by Linde’s Engineering Division that fouling was causing the trays to flood in a Debutanizer column. Gamma scans were performed at different operating conditions and proved the validity of the theory. A link to view the abstract is shown below.

The last several years Tracerco has presented at the YP Tutorial: Separation Process Fundamentals session and will be presenting again this year.

"Radioisotope Techniques for Process Investigations"
