Anas leads Tracerco’s operations in Saudi Arabia, where he bridges science and operations with commercial strategy. His role is all about opening doors, and minds, while elevating Tracerco’s presence in one of the world’s most dynamic energy markets. As General Manager - Sales for Saudi Arabia, Anas plays a key role in expanding Tracerco’s footprint and supporting customers across the Kingdom’s growing energy sector.
Anas’s journey to Tracerco is as fascinating as the region he works in. He began his career in oil and gas field operations in the UAE, running downhole tools and chasing jobs across the Eastern Hemisphere. His path took him through turbulent times and places, from the Arab Spring in Tunisia and Egypt to the ISIL chaos in Northern Iraq, before transitioning into leadership roles across Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar.

Eventually, Anas moved into commercial and operational leadership at independent oilfield technology start-ups, helping them break into the Middle East. Today, he brings that wealth of experience to Tracerco, where he’s helping us thrive in Saudi Arabia.
What might surprise people about Anas’s role? “You end up wearing a lot of hats,” he says. “Even part-time IT, driver, and procurement officer on occasion!” But it’s this hands-on, growth-phase energy that makes the job exciting.
His favourite part? “Bridging the gap between technically expert teammates, third parties, and major clients to achieve breakthroughs and commercial wins. When the stars align, it’s magic.
”Anas’s advice for those considering a similar career. “Embrace discomfort, new geographies, new roles, new challenges. The oilfield is a great teacher if you stay humble enough to be a good student.”
One of Anas’s standout memories is flying halfway across the world to attend Tracerco’s global strategy week in the UK. “Within hours, I knew I’d made the right leap. The people were smart, genuine, and made me confident that Tracerco was the right place for me.”
