At Tracerco, safety is more than just a priority—it’s a core value that drives everything we do. As we mark World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we are especially proud to celebrate an incredible milestone: six years incident free.

Speaking about this achievement Rachel Burke, Director of Compliance and Risk said, “This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication and vigilance of every member of our team in upholding the highest standards of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS).”

2025 International Day

A commitment to safety that never stops

Our commitment to workplace safety goes beyond compliance; it is embedded in our culture. Every decision we make, every process we follow, and every action we take is guided by a proactive approach to risk management. This unwavering dedication has enabled us to achieve what few organisations can—a sustained record of zero incidents for over six years. But we know that maintaining this success requires continuous effort, awareness, and collaboration.

Recognising safety champions: The Be Safe Employee of the Month Award

To highlight and celebrate individual contributions to our safety culture, we introduced the monthly Be Safe Award. This award recognises team members who go above and beyond in promoting and practicing safety at work.

Our most recent recipient, Molly Scott, exemplifies this spirit through her dedication and commitment to safety. Molly consistently demonstrates proactive thinking, a keen eye for potential hazards, and a willingness to support others in working safely. Congratulations, Molly, and thank you for setting a shining example for us all!

Safety Stand Down: A time to reflect and engage

One of the keyways we reinforce our safety culture is through our annual Safety Stand Down event. For an entire week each year, we encourage everyone across our organisation to pause, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations about workplace safety. This initiative provides an invaluable opportunity to:

  • Identify potential hazards and discuss risk mitigation strategies.
  • Share experiences and best practices in safety.
  • Strengthen our collective commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

By taking time to focus on safety together, we not only reaffirm our commitment but also inspire new ideas and improvements that help us uphold our impeccable safety record.

Looking forward: Continuous improvement in EHS

As we celebrate this achievement, we recognise that safety is an ongoing journey, not a destination. We will continue to:

  • Invest in cutting-edge safety training and technology.
  • Foster an open culture where employees feel empowered to speak up about safety concerns.
  • Evolve our EHS initiatives to address emerging risks and industry best practices.

Rachel Burke, Director of Compliance and Risk concluded, "Working safe means going home safe. Every precaution we take, every conversation we have about safety, and every step we take to look out for one another is rooted in one simple goal: ensuring every colleague returns home to their families and friends at the end of every day. That’s what safety is all about at Tracerco.

"This World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we extend our gratitude to every employee who makes safety their responsibility every day.

“Your vigilance, commitment, and teamwork are what make this achievement possible.

“Let’s keep up the great work and continue to build a future where safety remains at the heart of everything we do.

“Stay safe, stay vigilant, and keep making a difference!”
